Local, On-Device Processing

ScanFlow processes your scanned files, documents, OCR text, and signatures directly on your device. We do not upload, inspect, or store your document contents on our servers. Network access is utilized solely for app analytics, advertising (in the free tier), and subscription management.

1. Information Collection and Handling

Core Document Functionality

ScanFlow utilizes device-level processing together with on-device Machine Learning (ML) kits to deliver features including:

Document scanning and auto-edge detection
On-device Optical Character Recognition (OCR)
PDF creation and file conversion
PDF merging, splitting, and organization
Document signing and password protection

All document files, images, extracted text, and digital signatures remain stored locally on your device. No document payload is ever transmitted to Devyrolabs.

Telemetry, Analytics & Diagnostic Data

To deliver stability, detect bugs, and support freemium services, certain non-personal technical data is processed via third-party SDKs:

Device identifiers (Google Advertising ID, Android ID)
Device attributes (model, operating system version, screen resolution)
Crash reports and ANR diagnostics
Aggregated in-app interaction metrics and tool usage events

2. In-App Purchases & Subscriptions

ScanFlow provides optional in-app purchases and auto-renewing subscriptions (ScanFlow Pro). All financial transactions and payment details are processed exclusively by Google Play Billing.

Devyrolabs does not collect, receive, or retain any credit card numbers, bank details, or billing addresses. We only receive verification tokens confirming active entitlement status. You can manage or cancel your subscriptions at any time through the Google Play Store account settings.

3. Third-Party Services

The Application integrates third-party services that may collect information under their respective privacy policies:

4. Device Permissions

ScanFlow requests specific runtime permissions solely to execute user-initiated features:

Camera: Required for capturing documents, images, and scanning QR codes.
Photos / Storage: Required for importing images from your gallery and saving generated PDFs to your local storage.
Internet & Network State: Used to deliver ads (free version), communicate with Google Play Billing, and send crash reports.

5. Opt-Out & User Controls

Personalized Advertising: You can reset or opt out of personalized ads via Android Settings → Google → Ads.
Ad-Free Experience: Subscribing to ScanFlow Pro disables all third-party banner and interstitial advertisements.
Data Deletion / Cessation: You can remove all locally stored files directly inside the application and cease telemetry collection by uninstalling the application.

6. Data Retention

Because all document creation and file modifications occur strictly within local storage, your files remain on your device until deleted by you. Devyrolabs maintains zero server-side copies of your documents.

7. Children's Privacy

ScanFlow is not directed toward children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal identifying information from children.

8. Security

By isolating document manipulation to your local device environment, ScanFlow minimizes exposure to network-based interception. While we apply standard safeguards across our code, no electronic storage system or wireless communication method is completely impenetrable.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may revise this Privacy Policy to reflect app updates, billing additions, or legal adjustments. Any modifications become effective immediately upon publication.
