Core Functionality (Offline Processing)

ScanFlow uses your device's built-in capabilities together with on-device Machine Learning (ML) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) to provide features including:

• Document scanning
• OCR (Text Recognition)
• PDF creation
• PDF merging and splitting
• Document signing

All documents, images, extracted text, and signatures are processed and stored locally on your device. We do not upload your files to our servers.

Automatically Collected Information

To support the free version of ScanFlow, we may collect limited non-personal information through third-party services, including:

• Google Advertising ID
• Device model
• Android version
• Crash reports
• Performance diagnostics
• General usage statistics

2. Third-Party Services & Advertising

We use Google AdMob to display advertisements within the Application.

Google may use your device's Advertising ID to provide personalized advertisements based on your interests.

3. Device Permissions

ScanFlow requires certain permissions to provide its functionality:

• Camera — Scan documents and QR codes.
• Storage / Files & Media — Import images and save generated PDFs.

4. Opt-Out Rights

• Disable personalized ads from Android Settings → Google → Ads.
• Stop all future data collection by uninstalling the Application.

5. Data Retention

Since document processing is performed locally, your files remain on your device until you delete them. We never retain copies of your documents on our servers.

6. Children's Privacy

ScanFlow is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

7. Security

Processing your documents entirely on-device significantly improves your privacy and security. However, no electronic storage or internet transmission method is completely secure.

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Any changes become effective immediately after they are published on this page.
